This poem is a representation of many of my thoughts and feelings but in a better form.

So much of this stuff is casual, an accepted part of our vocabulary. There's so much I'm constantly unlearning regarding internalized misogyny, both for other women and myself.

Thank you for penning this poem. It's extremely powerful.

I found it to have a dual nature, words flowing like how the sky changes as the night darkens, and at the same time sharp and piercing the soul, in a good way.
