This made me cry, it's something else.

I'm glad you had those years together. Sometimes when parent-child relationships are complicated, maybe the best-case scenario is friendship. Walking together.

At least, that's what I think.

We can't forget the past or wish for a better one (as I have done) but we can understand each other. It's a human connection that transcends all boundaries.
