The worst part of working in a company is the appearance one has to keep up. Be happy, don't say you're working for money, be a team player, etc.

I think stuff like "do what you love and you'll never work a day" has negative effects on our minds, making us feel like we've got something wrong.

As you've rightly pointed out, making money from doing what you love, and not having to do anything else is a rare skill and a privilege. It's unlikely to happen for most.
