In my head the story goes like this - she's part of a tech startup that offers services to writers to gain popularity through unconventional ways - going missing (offline), kidnapping and death - since many artists get famous after their time. She's just doing her job. That's all. 😁

But all interpretations are valid. It makes things fun.
