They can write their own story - is the best response.

Family, or whoever, no one has the right to comment on someone else's truth - it doesn't even affect them. Imagine how little we know about other people - friends, co-workers, neighbors...they have whole lives outside our interactions, so why would anyone assume otherwise?

And don't get me started on bad reviewers. They have serious problems and could use some therapy.
