On a serious note, most of us are here to write and see if this experience leads us somewhere. So you're right, we need to work on our craft.
Engagement and community are good, and I truly enjoy these aspects of Medium, but if we really want to help, we should encourage each to write more, write better and hopefully reach more readers.
