My parents separated when I was 10, then got back together years later.
All it took those days was a simple question, "Where is your father?" to tip me over.
I mediated their fights hoping for a resolution, to talk some sense into them, and to make them see each other's perspectives. I never succeeded. I stopped trying a bit too late.
The powerful way in which you express your emotions, makes me feel so validated.
I don't need someone to tell me "It's okay" or "It happened to everyone". I want raw honesty.
Another wonderful poem, Edward. You continue to break records. I'm going to save this one. I'd like to read it again and again, and again.
