You raise important points and questions. I'd like to add, for a lot of people it's easier to say they will contribute money when they don't know where it's going. We think situations will be ideal - important causes will present themselves. However it is us who have to make the choices and we don't have a good track record when it comes to making collective decision-making, in my opinion.
