In my experience, no one (IRL) really wants to know what we write about/why we write. It's a knee-jerk question, at best. I struggle to answer, mostly because I want to get away with the conversation. I don't use a pen name. A few friends have 'found' me on Medium. They never came back to read my stories. 😁
