I think that when we grow up with a platform and especially if we are amongst the first to try it, we develop a deep relationship with it.
Back in the day, these companies would make us feel like there was no them without us—which was true. We’ve got used to sharing our opinions and we like to believe that at least what a collective majority thinks matters.
But recent events, which have been coming a long time, have shown us another reality. One where one has to look out for themselves and nothing is really real.
You’re right, what we feel doesn’t matter, it’s time for the next thing.
