I think so too, it tasted like coffee without sugar, when I was writing it. (Which is something I dislike)

Thank you! Yes, I'm not usually removed from my poems, but here I am. 'A glass' is such a generously perfect way to describe it.

I imagined the narrator to be in complete control of herself. Like she owns her 'imperfections' but is taking it to the other extreme. That makes her lens different from mine because she's not trying to grow/change.
