I think it's a guy thing, to an extent.

It's about setting expectations. I couldn't get away with not having an involved conversation the whole time. I'd be awkward as hell. Because of the thought of letting someone down...I know people who truly don't care, and others recognize that about them and give them space. How to achieve it? I have no clue. 😁
