I think as artists/writers we experience similar things multiple times and in more than one way. For me, the world in my head is bigger, and observation forces me to slow down. In contrast, my reality is fast-paced and also lackluster (relatively) which makes me wonder if I'm living life at all. I think we are, differently and more intensely than others. And sometimes that gets tiring.
