I believe that it's important to give yourself the credit, faith, and dedication you deserve.
If writing is something you pursue as a profession or even as a hobby that you seriously want to get better at; you should call yourself a "Writer".
Of course, this is easier said than done. I was only able to call myself one when I published my writing online. I prefer this term over "content creator," and I like how it encompasses so much from passion to art and creativity.
Not saying it out loud, even to yourself, can attack your self-esteem. You will find it difficult to grow and improve yourself if you don't take the necessary first step of believing in yourself. So today, if you aren't calling yourself one yet, make this choice.
Have you written something that you are proud of? Published an article—any writeup?
Say, "I am a Writer."
No one or nothing else, such as enrollment in the partner program, number of followers, a viral article, or acceptance into publications, can determine this for you.
As a writer, I first and foremost do this for myself. I love what I do and who I am becoming. It's hard but equally worth doing. And the sky is the limit.
